An issue with Windows update KB3102429 is causing Crystal Reports to experiencing issues when exporting to PDF, including exporting to Mail as PDF. Kindly follow the below steps to uninstall the offending update and rectify the issue
From the Control Panel
click on Programs and Features
and then select View Installed Updates.
Locate the Search Installed Updates
search box in the newly opened Installed Updates window, and type KB3102429. Once found, right-click on the update and click Uninstall
- Wait until the uninstallation completes and then restart the PC.
When the PC boots back up again go to Control Panel
, click on System and Security
and then select Windows Update
. Click on Check for Updates
to let Windows check for and find any missing updates, including the one we just uninstalled.
- After search for updates is complete click on "Number" important updates are available
From the given list, locate update KB3102429, Right click on the update and click on Hide Update.
This will ensure the update is not installed again by Windows during the next update installation process.
